If you or someone else is in immediate danger, leave the situation and contact local emergency services. AldSocial cannot provide emergency assistance.
Before an activity
- Review the host, activity details, skill level, venue and joined members. Ask questions in the activity chat.
- Prefer public, familiar and well-connected locations—especially for a first meeting.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going, who you are meeting and when you expect to return.
- Arrange your own transport and keep enough battery and money to leave independently.
- Do not share your home address, financial information, passwords or identity documents.
During an activity
- Trust your judgment. You can leave at any time without explaining or being polite.
- Stay within your physical ability, use suitable protective equipment and follow venue and local safety rules.
- Do not accept pressure to drink, use substances, transfer money, change venue or isolate yourself from the group.
- Respect consent and personal boundaries. Participation in an activity never implies romantic or physical consent.
Payments and scams
AldSocial does not currently process informal member-to-member payments. Be cautious if anyone asks for deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency, urgent transfers or account credentials. Independently verify any genuine shared cost and avoid paying before you are comfortable.
Outdoor, fitness and adventure activities
- Check weather, route, daylight, access, medical needs and emergency communications.
- Use trained professionals where the activity requires instruction, permits or specialist equipment.
- Do not rely solely on another member’s description of difficulty or safety.
Report concerns and preserve evidence
AldSocial does not currently provide an in-app member or activity safety-reporting control. For non-emergency concerns, email [email protected] with the activity, username, approximate date and a concise description.
For serious incidents, preserve relevant messages, activity details, usernames, dates and screenshots, but do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence. Leave the situation first when safety requires it.
Email is a request for review; it does not itself stop every interaction. Contact local authorities first for urgent or criminal matters.
