Our standard
AldSocial prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) without exception. That includes:
- child sexual abuse material of any kind, real or generated;
- grooming, or trying to contact, befriend or meet a child through AldSocial;
- sexualising children in messages, profiles or plans;
- sextortion, trafficking, or any plan that would put a child at risk.
This applies to every part of AldSocial: profiles, plans, plan chats and anything shared through them.
Adults only
You must be at least 18 to use AldSocial. Members give their date of birth when they join. An account we have reason to believe belongs to someone under 18 is closed.
How to report
- In the app: report the member, the plan or the chat message and choose Safety Concern. Child-safety concerns receive priority review.
- By email: write to [email protected] with “Child safety” in the subject, and say where the content or member is on AldSocial.
- Never send us images or videos of a child being abused, and do not save or share them. Tell us where they are and we will act on them.
What we do
- Take protective action according to the findings, including restricting or removing content and suspending or closing accounts.
- Preserve the evidence investigators need, as the law requires.
- Report to the appropriate authorities where required by applicable law.
- Cooperate with law enforcement on valid legal requests.
